Terms and conditions
On our website, masseurs offer their services at home (hereinafter referred to as "partner practitioners") who are affiliated with Masseur aan de deur. To use our website, you need to register at Masseuraandedeur.nl. Registration is free. With your email address and password, you can then log in to our website. Click the link below to register. On our website, you can select and book a practitioner and the desired treatment time. Additionally, you can order gift certificates. Once your booking and payment have been received by Masseur aan de deur, you will receive a confirmation via email and SMS.
If you have not received a confirmation, you should contact us as soon as possible at info@masseuraandedeur.nl to verify whether your booking is confirmed with the practitioner you selected. Masseuraandedeur.nl accepts the booking and payment and processes the bookings/purchases and payments as a commercial agent for its partner practitioners. As a commercial agent of our partner practitioners, we are authorized to finalize bookings on their behalf. By confirming the booking, in writing or via email, the booking becomes definitive with the partner practitioner. This means that the execution of the services or treatment is the responsibility of the partner practitioner. Masseur aan de deur is therefore not responsible or liable for the services provided. Masseur aan de Deur, on the other hand, is responsible for facilitating the purchase/bookings of services to the partner practitioner.
Cancellations
In addition to cancellations, Dutch law applies in principle. If a booking or appointment is canceled, the following cancellation terms apply:
Bookings
If you cancel a booking (in whole or in part) at least 24 hours before the appointment takes place, you are entitled to a refund of the applicable amount in accordance with the original payment method.
Cancellations of bookings must be made via your Masseur aan de deur account on the website.
A booking made within 24 hours prior to the treatment can no longer be changed and is final.
Please note that no refunds will be made when trying to cancel within 24 hours of a booked appointment.
The statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to the cancellation of bookings, as there is a contract for the provision of services that involves the availability of services for leisure activities where a specific time or period for compliance is provided.
Gift Certificates
You can exercise your statutory right of withdrawal within fourteen days after a confirmed booking for a gift certificate. You are then entitled to a refund of the gift certificate, provided that the to-be-canceled confirmed gift certificate has not been used to make an appointment. The gift certificates issued by Masseur aan de deur are valid for a maximum of one year after issuance. Each Masseur aan de Deur gift certificate has a specific value that can be spent exclusively on masseuraandedeur.nl. Our Digital Gift Certificates come with a unique code that you can enter on the payment page of our site. The value of the Massage Gift Certificate will then automatically be deducted from the total amount to be paid. After this period, any claim on the balance of the gift card expires.

In case of complaints, we will try to resolve the issue with the partner practitioner. If this does not lead to the desired outcome, Masseur aan de Deur will try, at its discretion and in a reasonable and fair manner, to come up with an appropriate solution. This does not affect the fact that Masseur aan de deur is not liable for the services provided by the partner practitioner.
